If Erubiel Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Honrio to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Celipe came free, but Rafael Min reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acostilla FC's goalkeeper Tomás Marcones, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Candelaria's Gabriel Honrio got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Min came out of the goal and Ismael Lorencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
