Winners FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Artaldo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aureliano Fernado breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Winners FC's zone, David Tximitx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Heli came out of the goal and David Tximitx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luciano Endira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in Almagro FC's zone, Joaquin Artaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Fernado came out of the goal and Joaquin Artaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Mateo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Aureliano Fernado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Almagro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquin Artaldo came free, but Aureliano Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Almagro FC's zone, Valentin Mateo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aureliano Fernado came out of the goal and Valentin Mateo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Almagro FC's Aureliano Fernado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joaquin Artaldo in the 25th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valentin Mateo in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aureliano Fernado prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Denis Ted hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Valentin Mateo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tiburcio Heli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Tximitx, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. In the 35th minute, Luciano Endira fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Tiburcio Heli, passed just outside the right post. The audience was convinced that David Tximitx's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tiburcio Heli was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. Almagro FC's David Tximitx got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luciano Endira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentin Mateo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Valentin Mateo made the kick off in the second half. When Valentin Mateo came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Winners FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valentin Mateo couldn't finish the play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 75 minutes into the game, Almagro FC's Luciano Endira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiburcio Heli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Joaquin Artaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aureliano Fernado. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquin Artaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Winners FC's zone, Denis Ted stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiburcio Heli came out of the goal and Denis Ted tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Mateo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
