Nicasio Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Timoteo Inge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Rafael Min tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diego Sendoa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Min having to interfere. 42 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Nicasio Abel came free, but Rafael Min reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 45 played minutes Brizancio got a freekick which was hit by Gervasio Silban. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicasio Abel was the one to do the kick off. Brizancio's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
