When Lorenzo Theobald fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Candelaria's protests and gave Lorenzo Theobald a yellow card for diving instead. After 13 played minutes Candelaria got a freekick which was hit by Lorenzo Theobald. Candelaria's defense didn't have a chance, in the 15th minute, when Marcelo Nafarroa scored to the left of an out of position Rafael Min, making the score, 1-0. Marcelo Nafarroa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rafael Min tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Candelaria's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Nafarroa came free, but Rafael Min reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Marcelo Nafarroa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Rafael Min. The goal made the score 2-0. After a defensive mix-up in Candelaria's zone, Enzo Felipillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafael Min came out of the goal and Enzo Felipillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 38 played minutes Club Atlético Entropía got a freekick which was hit by Jonas Bastian. If Marcelo Nafarroa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rafael Min was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Marcelo Nafarroa showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-0 in the 43 minute of play. In the 47th minute, Marcelo Nafarroa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Erubiel Danel made a kick off. Rafael Min made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Federico Gorka in the 67th minute of play.
