After a rather tough play, Candelaria's Eleuterio Firmo got a free kick in the 9th minute. Rafael Min made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Endira in the 12th minute of play. Luciano Endira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rafael Min having to interfere. In the 16th minute David Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rafael Min saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Denis Ted kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. David Tximitx sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rafael Min took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Tximitx, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aureliano Fernado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Honrio in the 26th minute. If Gabriel Honrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Luciano Endira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luciano Endira took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rafael Min. Rafael Min dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 48 minutes, Gabriel Honrio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Candelaria's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gabriel Honrio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. David Tximitx was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Almagro FC getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Denis Ted hit a great ball. If Erubiel Danel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Patricio Restu fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Almagro FC's protests and gave Patricio Restu a yellow card for diving instead. The attack was good, but when Erubiel Danel in the 72nd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Hugo Eladio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aureliano Fernado. Almagro FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Almagro FC's David Tximitx was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Almagro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Honrio came free, but Aureliano Fernado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Tximitx in the 88th minute of play forced Candelaria's goalkeeper Rafael Min to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Candelaria defense, Luciano Endira kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rafael Min. The Candelaria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rafael Min should have stopped the shot. The Almagro FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
