After a defensive mix-up in Zaparinqui FC's zone, Emanuel Bero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Colas came out of the goal and Emanuel Bero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute of the match, Arturo Micael tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tobias Mero saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Gregorio Endura could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Tobias Mero made a huge save. Mauricio Colas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Valiente in the 35th minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Guascan's Emanuel Bero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Colas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Tobias Mero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arturo Micael, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guascan's Tobias Mero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Guascan from getting a goal against them. When Arturo Micael fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zaparinqui FC's protests and gave Arturo Micael a yellow card for diving instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 52nd minute, Filiberto Cilio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 minutes of play, Zaparinqui FC's Gregorio Endura made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tobias Mero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Tobias Mero didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arturo Micael went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score.
