After a rather tough play, Ajó's Domingos Olando got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Guascan's Denis Munio couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ajó. When Ariel Theodore fell near the penalty area in the 10th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ajó's protests and gave Ariel Theodore a yellow card for diving instead. Feliciano Valiente struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Fulgencio Ayala didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guascan. Feliciano Valiente in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fulgencio Ayala, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Feliciano Valiente who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Fulgencio Ayala when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Ajó's Benigno Maore got a free kick in the 26th minute. Prospero Ekaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 37th minute, Emanuel Bero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Valiente got free with Fulgencio Ayala in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Prospero Ekaitz to strike the kick off in the second half. Isaias Astigar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Ajó's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tobias Mero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Ekaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Ajó's zone, Feliciano Valiente stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fulgencio Ayala came out of the goal and Feliciano Valiente tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ajó's Rigoberto Edur shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 57th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tobias Mero but with some difficulty. In the 59thth minute of the game Feliciano Valiente who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ajó's Fulgencio Ayala was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prospero Ekaitz in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tobias Mero saved Guascan from getting behind. Tobias Mero was out of position in the 63 minute of play, and Benigno Maore capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Benigno Maore really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. The long shot by Rigoberto Edur in the 81st minute really tested Tobias Mero's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Ajó's Fulgencio Ayala played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Feliciano Valiente in the 85th minute of play. When Benigno Maore fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. In the 96th match minute, Guascan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Denis Munio to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Guascan's Tobias Mero got control of the ball when Domingos Olando tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Guascan supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Ajó's performance. The match ended with a win for Ajó.
