Spectators: 6663 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arturo Micael made the kick off which started today's match. With a little luck, Azul y Oro F.C's Ambrosio Fernanco got control of the ball when Gregorio Endura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Arturo Micael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Severino Tristan fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zaparinqui FC's protests and gave Severino Tristan a yellow card for diving instead. 12 minutes into the match, Azul y Oro F.C's goalkeeper Ambrosio Fernanco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hernan Sendoa. When Ariel Tipi came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Azul y Oro F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Tipi couldn't finish the play. If Hernan Sendoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cayetano Enetz kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Azul y Oro F.C's Antonio Jacob got a free kick in the 25th minute. Arturo Micael recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 32 played minutes Zaparinqui FC got a freekick which was hit by Felix Sesuldo. Zaparinqui FC's Mauricio Colas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Tipi in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Azul y Oro F.C booed when Zaparinqui FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arturo Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Azul y Oro F.C's Conrado Bazil sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mauricio Colas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ambrosio Fernanco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Micael in the 43rd minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ariel Tipi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ariel Tipis short, quick shot in the 59thth minute got Mauricio Colas to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 61st minute, Conrado Bazil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Endura hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Azul y Oro F.C were furious when Leon Medina was red carded, 66 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. A collision led to Azul y Oro F.C getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Leon Medina hit a great ball. Desiderio Vimaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Azul y Oro F.C's Ambrosio Fernanco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gregorio Endura in the 69th minute of play. Ambrosio Fernanco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Sendoa in the 71st minute of the match. Cayetano Enetz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 77th minute, Ariel Tipi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ariel Tipi struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Mauricio Colas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Azul y Oro F.C. After a defensive mix-up in Zaparinqui FC's zone, Ariel Tipi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Colas came out of the goal and Ariel Tipi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mauricio Colas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ariel Tipi, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Conrado Bazil managed to get in a good position for a shot. Azul y Oro F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Conrado Bazil was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Colas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 89 minutes into the match, Arturo Micael notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Azul y Oro F.C's Ambrosio Fernanco. Ambrosio Fernanco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Azul y Oro F.C's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
