Agarrate FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Theodore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Cornelio Eladio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ivan Videl came out and tried to block the shot, but Cornelio Eladio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 23rd minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Agarrate FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Jonathan Theodore charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonathan Theodore the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, A.A Banda Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Theodore to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Agarrate FC's zone, Cornelio Eladio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ivan Videl came out of the goal and Cornelio Eladio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cornelio Eladio was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute Jonathan Theodore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ivan Videl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Melchor Hulberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Hulberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to A.A Banda Norte getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Uriel Moise hit a great ball. After 67 minutes, Uriel Moise mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the A.A Banda Norte and the Agarrate FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Uriel Moise kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. After 68 played minutes A.A Banda Norte got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Moise. Agarrate FC were awarded a corner in the 71th minute after A.A Banda Norte's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Teodoro Fernandes took the corner. Teodoro Fernandes made a great header on Agarrate FC's corner, it was just that A.A Banda Norte's Victor Arnalt managed to reach the ball for a save. With a little luck, A.A Banda Norte's Victor Arnalt got control of the ball when Benicio Lon tried to sneak it across the goal line. 88 minutes into the game, Melchor Hulberto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Victor Arnalt. A.A Banda Norte's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
