Uriel Moise hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The long shot by Angel Salvatore in the 22nd minute really tested Victor Arnalt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. A collision led to A.A Banda Norte getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Delmiro Orkatz hit a great ball. Elvio Sidro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Victor Arnalt read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Ignacio Costante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Eladio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Eladio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Ignacio Costante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 played minutes A.A Banda Norte got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Orkatz. In the 42nd match minute, A.A Banda Norte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Moise to maneuver through the defense. After 44 minutes A.A Banda Norte's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Angel Salvatore who took care of the corner kick. Ivan Hunfredo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. 47 minutes into the match, A.A Banda Norte's goalkeeper Victor Arnalt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elvio Sidro. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cornelio Eladio made a kick off. Ivan Hunfredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Elvio Sidro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huelén's supporters rose to their feet, but Elvio Sidro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Victor Arnalt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Theodore's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 61stth minute, Ignacio Costante skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Elvio Sidro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Hunfredo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Arnalt having to interfere. A collision led to A.A Banda Norte getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Silvano Maxin hit a great ball. Elvio Sidro took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Arnalt. Victor Arnalt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ivan Hunfredo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Freddy Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elvio Sidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Arnalt having to interfere. In the 90th minute Elvio Sidro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Arnalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Hunfredo in the 92nd minute of play forced A.A Banda Norte's goalkeeper Victor Arnalt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ivan Hunfredo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cesar Kusko during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
