Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Herminio Ekhi started the match with the kick off. Atiles FC's Claudio Dorio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Ekhi in the 4th minute of play. A hard shot by Gaston Telesforo from long distance, 17 minutes into the match, got Anacleto Admon's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 19th minute, Barrancas FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Carolo Abeijon fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Atiles FC booed when Barrancas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeronimo Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Froilan Haimar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Atiles FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barrancas FC the free kick. In the 23rd match minute, Atiles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Froilan Haimar to maneuver through the defense. Claudio Dorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonatan Abadie, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Abel Guillelmus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Anacleto Admon having to make a save. Abel Guillelmus might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anacleto Admon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Abel Guillelmus ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 36th minute, Anastasio Burni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 40th minute, Atiles FC's Abel Guillelmus dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. After some careless play in the Barrancas FC defense, Abel Guillelmus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anacleto Admon. The Barrancas FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anacleto Admon should have stopped the shot. Abel Guillelmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When Jonatan Abadie came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Barrancas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonatan Abadie couldn't finish the play. If Abel Guillelmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anastasio Burni hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carolo Abeijon in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Anacleto Admon saved Barrancas FC from getting behind. After 70 minutes Barrancas FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Octavio Tajo who took care of the corner kick. Octavio Tajo made a great header on Atiles FC's corner, it was just that Barrancas FC's Anacleto Admon managed to reach the ball for a save. Abel Guillelmus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anastasio Burni charged in rather forcefully in the 73rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anastasio Burni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Anastasio Burni hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Post out! 78 minutes into the match, Atiles FC's Carolo Abeijon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Anacleto Admon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Barrancas FC's goalkeeper Anacleto Admon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Abel Guillelmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abel Guillelmus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Anacleto Admon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carolo Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anacleto Admon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atiles FC. Atiles FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
