Abelardo Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Desiderio Cugat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaudencio Gasteiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Desiderio Cugat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaudencio Gasteiz in the 29th minute of play. If Gaudencio Gasteiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abelardo Donio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Abelardo Donio blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desiderio Cugat having to make a save. 46 minutes into the game, Benicio Fidele cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Saverio Pitin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Manantiales's supporters crossed their fingers, but Prospero Urbes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 93 minutes into the match, Benicio Fidele had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Saverio Pitin. Manantiales's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benicio Fidele was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 96th match minute, Ratasas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anier Montes to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Ratasas could leave the field as winners, despite Manantiales having more of the ball for most of the match.
