Atiles FC's Ruperto Mambru got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Atiles FC's goal looked a bit too open when Melchor Hulberto came free, but Claudio Dorio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carolo Abeijon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Videl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 25 minutes in the game, Melchor Hulberto fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Claudio Dorio having to interfere. A collision led to Atiles FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Octavio Tajo hit a great ball. It was beautiful to see Agarrate FC's Teodoro Fernandes in action when he in the 28th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! The supporters of Atiles FC booed when Agarrate FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorenzo Kepa didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Abel Guillelmus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Melchor Hulberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Claudio Dorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Videl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Guillelmus in the 36th minute of play. Ivan Videl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carolo Abeijon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Carolo Abeijon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ivan Videl read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Abel Guillelmus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atiles FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Guillelmus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Benicio Lon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claudio Dorio having to interfere. In the 43rd match minute, Atiles FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruperto Mambru to maneuver through the defense. Agarrate FC's Melchor Hulberto got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Carolo Abeijon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Abel Guillelmus to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Carolo Abeijon could shoot a difficult shot in the 52nd minute, which Ivan Videl however easily saved by the left post. A collision led to Agarrate FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Carmelo Tomi hit a great ball. When Carolo Abeijon came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Atiles FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carolo Abeijon couldn't finish the play. Carolo Abeijon struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Ivan Videl didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atiles FC. Carolo Abeijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ivan Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivan Videl made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Abel Guillelmus sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute, Octavio Tajo fired a really elegant long shot, but Ivan Videl threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. Carolo Abeijon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Ivan Videl tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sergio Rozarius in the 84th minute of play forced Agarrate FC's goalkeeper Ivan Videl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Carolo Abeijon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lorenzo Kepa hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Abeijon got free with Ivan Videl in the 90th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudio Dorio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melchor Hulberto in the 92nd minute of the match. Carolo Abeijon in the 96thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ivan Videl, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save.
