Nicanor Gagriel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Nicanor Gagriel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Genaro Gai in the 42nd minute of the match.

Melchor Emenon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Honrio in the 55th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Eleazar during the 55th minute. After 87 minutes, Delmiro Pacifico mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paternal AFC and the F.C.Ligamentos Cruzados players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of F.C.Ligamentos Cruzados booed when Paternal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Delmiro Pacifico didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes in the game, Ulises Leocadio fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nicanor Gagriel having to interfere. With a little luck, Paternal AFC's Nicanor Gagriel got control of the ball when Genaro Gai tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Paternal AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F.C.Ligamentos Cruzados were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
