Ulises Muc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Anselmo Piorno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 5th minute, Ulises Muc ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Anselmo Piorno was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Ceferino Honrio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anselmo Piorno having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Claraz's Anier Baleren got a free kick in the 13th minute. Nicanor Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Terciero in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of Claraz booed when Paternal AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomiro Benvido didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ceferino Honrio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Claraz's goalkeeper Anselmo Piorno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicanor Gagriel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Omar Terciero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Claraz's Baldomiro Paulin got a free kick in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omar Terciero to strike the kick off in the second half. When Paternal AFC's Ulises Muc in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Claraz's goalie prevented a goal. Claraz's Astor Bernard got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Omar Terciero came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Claraz fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Terciero couldn't finish the play. Arsenio Bladi hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Anselmo Piorno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ulises Muc's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Omar Terciero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Nicanor Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ulises Muc's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Anselmo Piorno read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Claraz's Anselmo Piorno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ceferino Honrio in the 81st minute of play. Anselmo Piorno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvestre Chesus in the 85th minute of the match. Astor Bernard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nicanor Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Paternal AFC's zone, Astor Bernard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nicanor Gagriel came out of the goal and Astor Bernard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Claraz players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Paternal AFC.
