Hersilia AFC's Honorato Soin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Haritz in the 12th minute of play. Lino Haritz scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Honorato Soin, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the game, Epifanio Baumer was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hersilia AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Fronton the free kick. In the 19th minute, Epifanio Baumer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Ambrosio Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When El Fronton's Lino Haritz in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The wind increased when Lino Haritz made the kick off in the second half. Severino Urtats took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angel Peio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute, Ambrosio Garaile hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angel Peio struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Severino Urtats didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hersilia AFC. In the 70th minute Carmelo Maria shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Urtats saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 72 minutes, Ambrosio Garaile managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Fronton's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ambrosio Garaile was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 95 minutes into the match, El Fronton's goal looked a bit too open when Carmelo Maria came free, but Severino Urtats reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. El Fronton's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
