With a couple of smart ball manuevers Adrian Rafel in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabio Napier saved Deportivo Moron from getting behind. In the 4th minute, Cayetano Urko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 7 minutes, Raul Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Moron's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Elizardo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 12 minutes into the match, Independiente Rivadavia's goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Laurgain came free, but Jimeno Dunixi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jimeno Dunixi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arsenio Laurgain in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Deportivo Moron's goalkeeper Fabio Napier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Deportivo Moron getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Arnaldo Garoa hit a great ball. Fabio Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Rafel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Independiente Rivadavia's Jimeno Dunixi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Laurgain in the 23rd minute of play. In the 26thth minute of the game Arsenio Laurgain who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente Rivadavia's Jimeno Dunixi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Donato Oskitz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. If Adrian Rafel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fabio Napier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Rafel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Adrian Rafel came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Independiente Rivadavia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrian Rafel couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Fabio Napier came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Independiente Rivadavia's Adrian Rafel. But to his dismay, Adrian Rafel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After some careless play in the Deportivo Moron defense, Pedro Joachim kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabio Napier. The Deportivo Moron fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabio Napier should have stopped the shot. Romeo Haitz kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 68th minute of the match, Arsenio Laurgain got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jimeno Dunixi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Conrado Ihintza charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Ihintza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Conrado Ihintza hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 82nd minute, Candido Olivar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jimeno Dunixi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. After a defensive mix-up in Independiente Rivadavia's zone, Arsenio Laurgain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jimeno Dunixi came out of the goal and Arsenio Laurgain tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Deportivo Moron booed when Independiente Rivadavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Laurentzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute of the match Ernesto Canor shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jimeno Dunixi showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Jimeno Dunixi made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arsenio Laurgain in the 95th minute. Deportivo Moron's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
