Angel Peio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nicanor Gagriel came out and tried to block the shot, but Angel Peio slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 23rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulises Muc in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Honorato Soin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Thanks to some nice moves Angel Peio could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Nicanor Gagriel however easily saved by the left post. Honorato Soin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Honrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Nicanor Gagriel didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 36th minute, which inside left pole to 2-0. Paternal AFC's Nicanor Gagriel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Maria in the 43rd minute of play. Nicanor Gagriel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmelo Maria in the 45th minute of play. If Ceferino Honrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ceferino Honrio to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Angel Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hersilia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carmelo Maria in the 54th minute of play forced Paternal AFC's goalkeeper Nicanor Gagriel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Honorato Soin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Honrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Ceferino Honrio kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Honorato Soin. That made the score 2-1 in the 63 minute of play. Hersilia AFC's Honorato Soin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Benvido in the 67th minute of play. Honorato Soin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ceferino Honrio in the 72nd minute of the match. Oscar Montrel hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Ceferino Honrio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Paternal AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ceferino Honrio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Honorato Soin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ulises Muc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Honorato Soin made a huge save. Honorato Soin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ceferino Honrio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paternal AFC's Nicanor Gagriel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Peio in the 89th minute of play. Carmelo Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicanor Gagriel having to interfere. Carmelo Maria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Nicanor Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hersilia AFC had played much better football throughout.
