With a little luck, RIVER PLATE FC's Cesar Sabino got control of the ball when Angel Peio tried to sneak it across the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Angel Peio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cesar Sabino. RIVER PLATE FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angel Peio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After 34 minutes, Cecilio Veto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the RIVER PLATE FC and the Hersilia AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cecilio Veto hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hersilia AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! Hersilia AFC's Honorato Soin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Chayo in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Fausto Lando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesar Sabino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carmelo Maria, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oscar Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Honorato Soin was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Erasmo Bela. 85 minutes into the match, Hersilia AFC's goalkeeper Honorato Soin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Virgilio Corderun. Virgilio Corderun struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Honorato Soin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RIVER PLATE FC. Hersilia AFC's Honorato Soin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Hersilia AFC from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE FC's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Peio came free, but Cesar Sabino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Virgilio Corderun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. RIVER PLATE FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
