The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, F.C.Ligamentos Cruzados's Leandro Eleazar got a free kick in the 4th minute. Leandro Eleazar's late challenge caught a HADES FC.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leandro Eleazar helped the player get up and apologised. Leandro Eleazar hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute Ernesto Dorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melchor Emenon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulino Checa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Emenon having to interfere. Melchor Emenon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernesto Dorio in the 11th minute of the match. Albino Bertol charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Bertol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to F.C.Ligamentos Cruzados getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Albino Bertol hit a great ball. When Ernesto Dorio came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the HADES FC. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Dorio couldn't finish the play. If Paulino Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Gai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Serafino Bela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Genaro Gai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafino Bela having to interfere. Melchor Emenon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Dorio in the 34th minute of play. F.C.Ligamentos Cruzados's Melchor Emenon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernesto Dorio in the 44th minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ulises Leocadio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Paulino Checa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 59th minute, Ulises Leocadio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 65 minutes in the game, Paulino Checa fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Melchor Emenon having to interfere. Elvio Leoncio was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 88 minutes into the match. Ernesto Dorio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Genaro Gai might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Serafino Bela. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Genaro Gai ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 101st minute of the match, Paulino Checa tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Melchor Emenon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. HADES FC. walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
