Albino Bertol charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albino Bertol the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 5 played minutes F.C.Ligamentos Cruzados got a freekick which was hit by Albino Bertol. Angel Peio who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Melchor Emenon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 9th minute of the match, Angel Peio got a very nice opportunity to score, but Melchor Emenon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Carmelo Maria recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to F.C.Ligamentos Cruzados getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Albino Bertol hit a great ball. Carmelo Maria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Melchor Emenon having to interfere. Angel Peio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Melchor Emenon made a huge save. Honorato Soin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulises Leocadio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hersilia AFC's Carmelo Maria got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Albino Bertol might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Honorato Soin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Albino Bertol ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 33rd minute Ruben Leizarraga suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. When Fausto Lando fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hersilia AFC's protests and gave Fausto Lando a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmelo Maria in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Melchor Emenon saved F.C.Ligamentos Cruzados from getting behind. After having played for 38 minutes, Angel Peio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hersilia AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angel Peio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Albino Bertol got his second yellow card in the match during the 39th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. F.C.Ligamentos Cruzados's Melchor Emenon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Maria in the 44th minute of play. Genaro Gai's late challenge caught a Hersilia AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Gai helped the player get up and apologised. Genaro Gai hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Carmelo Maria to make the kick off. Melchor Emenon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fausto Lando in the 56th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Ulises Leocadio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Carmelo Maria hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. F.C.Ligamentos Cruzados's Melchor Emenon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angel Peio in the 65th minute of play. Honorato Soin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leandro Eleazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Hersilia AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Fausto Lando hit a great ball. If Angel Peio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Carmelo Maria's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Melchor Emenon was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The F.C.Ligamentos Cruzados players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Hersilia AFC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
