The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. CHAU MZ's Mauricio Bras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Atilano Erroman in the 3rd minute of play. Felipe Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mauricio Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 9th match minute, CHAU MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Bidun to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Bras showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Erroman, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Mauricio Bras made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atilano Erroman in the 12th minute of play. Mauricio Bras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Atilano Erroman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of River Eze booed when CHAU MZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luciano Quentin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Agustin Arotza charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustin Arotza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, CHAU MZ's Agustin Arotza got a free kick in the 21st minute. After 33 minutes of play, CHAU MZ's Cirilo Mikeldi made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saturnino Sendoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Saturnino Sendoa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Bidari in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st match minute, CHAU MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luciano Quentin to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Llorenc received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Mauricio Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Prospero Bidari managed to get in a good position for a shot. CHAU MZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Prospero Bidari was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saturnino Sendoa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 62nd minute Atilano Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Bras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 70th minute, Luciano Quentin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Llorenc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Mauricio Bras made a huge save. In the 73rd minute, Atilano Erroman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, River Eze's goal looked a bit too open when Cirilo Mikeldi came free, but Saturnino Sendoa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as River Eze's Atilano Erroman slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauricio Bras. That made the score 1-2 after 78 minutes of play. In the 88th match minute, CHAU MZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Tanio to maneuver through the defense. Mauricio Bras made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Felipe Llorenc sent off a good shot on target. Cirilo Mikeldi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Saturnino Sendoa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, River Eze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bruno Belmiro to maneuver through the defense. The River Eze supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing River Eze would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
