The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 17th match minute, El Moco de Roberto was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Alonso to maneuver through the defense. Primitivo Montae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tobias Torres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Maximino Azevedo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zumbul Moco was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. In the 25th minute, Enrique Escobar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Rabagol getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Enrique Escobar hit a great ball. Primitivo Montae came out of the goal in the 34th minute to try and stop a shot by El Moco de Roberto's Tobias Torres. But to his dismay, Tobias Torres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Primitivo Montae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonides Montae, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Maximino Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Banegas to strike the kick off in the second half. Leonides Montae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Primitivo Montae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Alonso's late challenge caught a Rabagol's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Orlando Alonso helped the player get up and apologised. In the 57th minute, Orlando Alonso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 64 minutes, Leonides Montae managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Moco de Roberto's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonides Montae was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Tobias Torres had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute, Pedro Asteri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 74th minute Martin Banegas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zumbul Moco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Primitivo Montae didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tobias Torres went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Martin Banegas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute, Martin Banegas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
