Esteban Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cirilo Mikeldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Osmundo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Moises Berdaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Mauricio Bras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Los Renguitos's Moises Berdaitz got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute, Moises Berdaitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esteban Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prospero Bidari, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Moises Berdaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 32 in the game by Moises Berdaitz from a close distance when the talented Mauricio Bras managed to make a qualified save. CHAU MZ's players were relieved. Felix Nabar kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Cirilo Mikeldi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Selatse having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Moises Berdaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Renguitos's supporters rose to their feet, but Moises Berdaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mauricio Bras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 41st minute, Guillermo Gonzo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Moises Berdaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Bras having to interfere. Los Renguitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Flavio Osmundo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in CHAU MZ's zone, Moises Berdaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mauricio Bras came out of the goal and Moises Berdaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Moises Berdaitz was the one to do the kick off. Moises Berdaitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Flavio Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 58 minutes of play, Los Renguitos's Moises Berdaitz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mauricio Bras was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Prospero Bidari got free with Esteban Selatse in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mauricio Bras came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Los Renguitos's Moises Berdaitz. But to his dismay, Moises Berdaitz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Moises Berdaitz in the 71st minute of play forced CHAU MZ's goalkeeper Mauricio Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute, Agustin Arotza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 73 minutes, Guillermo Gonzo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Renguitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guillermo Gonzo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Moises Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Berdaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mauricio Bras. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Berdaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. Moises Berdaitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Bras having to interfere. 89 minutes into the match, CHAU MZ's goal looked a bit too open when Moises Berdaitz came free, but Mauricio Bras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mauricio Bras made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0.
