In the 17th minute Felipe Llorenc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Buinton hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Flavio Osmundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Moises Berdaitz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 27thth minute, Saturnino Sendoa skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Felipe Llorenc fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Esteban Selatse having to interfere. If Moises Berdaitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moises Berdaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in River Eze's zone, Moises Berdaitz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Saturnino Sendoa came out of the goal and Moises Berdaitz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th match minute, River Eze was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vinicio Ekialde to maneuver through the defense.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Berdaitz to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 55 minutes, Moises Berdaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Renguitos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Moises Berdaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moises Berdaitz might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Saturnino Sendoa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Moises Berdaitz ran back to his position shaking his head. The audience was convinced that Moises Berdaitz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Saturnino Sendoa was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. A collision led to River Eze getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Conrado Socorro hit a great ball. 67 minutes into the match, Los Renguitos's goal looked a bit too open when Atilano Erroman came free, but Esteban Selatse reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. River Eze's Atilano Erroman was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Esteban Selatse in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. A collision led to Los Renguitos getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Moises Berdaitz hit a great ball. Esteban Selatse showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Atilano Erroman, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Moises Berdaitz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 79 minutes into the match, River Eze's Bruno Belmiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Esteban Selatse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 80th minute Atilano Erroman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esteban Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteban Selatse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Atilano Erroman in the 82nd minute of the match. After 86 minutes of play, Los Renguitos's Moises Berdaitz made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Saturnino Sendoa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Los Renguitos's zone, Bruno Belmiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esteban Selatse came out of the goal and Bruno Belmiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Atilano Erroman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Esteban Selatse read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play.
