If Ruben Gaspard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Flavio Nesto fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cienaguita's protests and gave Flavio Nesto a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Cienaguita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavio Nesto to maneuver through the defense. Albano Janpier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victorino Ostadar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 minutes, Roman Eutropio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cienaguita and the Damn Vikings players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roman Eutropio kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Damn Vikings's Pascual Belo couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cienaguita. After 25 minutes, Ruben Gaspard made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cienaguita's Teofilo Raymundo tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Fabricio Guzman hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Cienaguita's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Roman Eutropio in the 32nd minute. Cienaguita's Roman Eutropio was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Albano Janpier in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Teodosio Quentin fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Damn Vikings's protests and gave Teodosio Quentin a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind Damn Vikings's goalkeeper Albano Janpier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victorino Ostadar in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Albano Janpier saved Damn Vikings from getting behind.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victorino Ostadar was the one to do the kick off. Cipriano Iraido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albano Janpier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. Teofilo Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Belo in the 67th minute of play. Victorino Ostadar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Albano Janpier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Vicente Romelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Victorino Ostadar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 84 minutes of play Damn Vikings's Teodosio Quentin was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Damn Vikings's Teodosio Quentin got a free kick in the 85th minute. Prudencio Phelipe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Albano Janpier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Damn Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Romelio. Damn Vikings's Albano Janpier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Damn Vikings from getting a goal against them. When Victorino Ostadar came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the Cienaguita fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorino Ostadar couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Damn Vikings had won after a very even match.
