After a defensive mix-up in Infix FC's zone, Ariel Sandalio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Efrain Osoitz came out of the goal and Ariel Sandalio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Eustacio Ferran's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Clemente Savion was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Ariel Sandalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Clemente Savion stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Evis's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. Paulo Nel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 21stth minute of the game Ernesto Evis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guardamonte's Clemente Savion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ernesto Evis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Clemente Savion read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Ariel Sandalio's late challenge caught a Infix FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ariel Sandalio helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Guardamonte got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Sandalio. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Ernesto Evis sped through Guardamonte's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Clemente Savion. Tomas Umea scored 0-2 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clemente Savion, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Infix FC's attentive Tomas Umea managed to snatch the ball when Efrain Mendiko made a throw-in in the 42nd minute of the game. Tomas Umea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Clemente Savion tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ernesto Evis's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 52ndth minute, Clemente Savion skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Conrado Iraunkor hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Ernesto Evis might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Savion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernesto Evis ran back to his position shaking his head. Clemente Savion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernesto Evis in the 54th minute of play. When Infix FC's Eustacio Ferran in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guardamonte's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Infix FC booed when Guardamonte was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Conrado Iraunkor didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64thth minute of the game Ernesto Evis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guardamonte's Clemente Savion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Niceto Baleren might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Clemente Savion. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Niceto Baleren ran back to his position shaking his head. Clemente Savion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Evis, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Eustacio Ferran was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 69th minute. Infix FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Ariel Sandalio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute Ariel Sandalio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Clemente Savion was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eustacio Ferran showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-3 in the 81 minute of play. Eustacio Ferran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernesto Evis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Savion having to interfere. After 93 played minutes Guardamonte got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Nel. Infix FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
