Teofilo Raymundo came out of the goal and Alfredo Monico tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Prudencio Phelipe in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Oscar Feliz saved Sportivo Chilim Balam from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Prudencio Phelipe got free with Oscar Feliz in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, Baltasar Orlin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Baltasar Orlin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sportivo Chilim Balam's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
