Teofilo Raymundo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paolo Tximitx in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Necolman booed when Cienaguita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Melquiades Corderun didn't get a good kick on the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Victorino Ostadar to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute, Manuel Demario got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 62 minutes, Victorino Ostadar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cienaguita's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victorino Ostadar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Prudencio Phelipe struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Modesto Enol didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cienaguita. 65 minutes into the match, Necolman's goal looked a bit too open when Victorino Ostadar came free, but Modesto Enol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Eutropio hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Necolman's Teofilo Raymundo threw himself towards the right post 72 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Paolo Tximitx, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Paolo Tximitx succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-3 in the 72nd playminute. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Cienaguita lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
