The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Arsenio Dayam fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sainuco's protests and gave Arsenio Dayam a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Damaso Lucila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Abel Llorian, 5 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Constantino Farias stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernesto Evis's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. Arsenio Dayam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Efrain Osoitz having to interfere. When Filomeno Berenguer came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Sainuco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filomeno Berenguer couldn't finish the play. In the 15th minute Filomeno Berenguer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Efrain Osoitz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes of play, Infix FC's Ernesto Evis made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Constantino Farias was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ernesto Evis's late challenge caught a Sainuco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Evis helped the player get up and apologised. Ernesto Evis kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sainuco's Cosme Casado got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Laureano Dolcet's late challenge caught a Infix FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laureano Dolcet helped the player get up and apologised. Laureano Dolcet kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 30th minute of the match Clemente Galtero shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Efrain Osoitz showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Efrain Osoitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filomeno Berenguer in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Sainuco booed when Infix FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnoldo Donio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efrain Osoitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Dayam, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme Casado kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sainuco's zone, Niceto Baleren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantino Farias came out of the goal and Niceto Baleren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ernesto Evis to strike the kick off in the second half. Abel Llorian's late challenge caught a Sainuco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Abel Llorian helped the player get up and apologised. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ernesto Evis in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Constantino Farias prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arsenio Dayam received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Efrain Osoitz came out and tried to block the shot, but Arsenio Dayam slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 56th minute. When Arsenio Dayam came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Sainuco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Arsenio Dayam couldn't finish the play. Filomeno Berenguer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Efrain Osoitz made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ernesto Evis in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constantino Farias saved Sainuco from getting behind. When Damaso Lucila fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sainuco's protests and gave Damaso Lucila a yellow card for diving instead. In the 96th minute of the match Abel Llorian sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Constantino Farias skillfully saved the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Sainuco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
