In the 11th minute Ivan Atarratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Domingues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Oihenarte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 25thth minute tested the skills of Hugo Sayveon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 32 minutes into the match, Curne's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Macias came free, but Julio Domingues reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Curne's Nereo Cidro was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hugo Sayveon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Hugo Sayveon was out of position in the 37 minute of play, and Jonas Oihenarte capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonas Oihenarte really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Jonas Oihenarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 45 minutes into the match, Pedernera's goalkeeper Hugo Sayveon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ignacio Izel. Curne's Jonas Oihenarte got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Jonas Oihenarte made the kick off in the second half. Fernando Urtzi hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Curne's Jonas Oihenarte pulled a muscle in his back after 73 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Celedonio Quiroga during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Curne's Carmelo Gauargi was substituted for Jonas Oihenarte. The supporters of Curne booed when Pedernera was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Gauargi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
