In the 5th minute of the match Adolfo Orland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavino Gorka skillfully saved the ball. Herminio Enol scored 0-1 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gavino Gorka, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 19th minute, Martin Sansone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute of the match Adolfo Orland sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavino Gorka skillfully saved the ball. After some careless play in the Calchaquí F.C. defense, Herminio Enol kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gavino Gorka. The Calchaquí F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gavino Gorka should have stopped the shot. Florencio Hotz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evelio Ezkerra in the 26th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Evelio Ezkerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Florencio Hotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernardino Eduino charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bernardino Eduino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Acosta AFC booed when Calchaquí F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardino Eduino didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Herminio Enol had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Astor Maria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Gavino Gorka tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute, Calchaquí F.C.'s Evelio Ezkerra dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 47th minute of the game. One of Acosta AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Calchaquí F.C.:s goal. The Calchaquí F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Acosta AFC were winning 2-3.

A wasted opportunity for Acosta AFC. 58 minutes into the game, Anier Casomiro was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Acosta AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Calchaquí F.C. the free kick. In the 60th match minute, Calchaquí F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evelio Ezkerra to maneuver through the defense. Adrian Tolino struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Lucio Belo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lucio Belo in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florencio Hotz saved Acosta AFC from getting behind. When Astor Maria fell near the penalty area in the 85th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acosta AFC's protests and gave Astor Maria a yellow card for diving instead. In the 85th minute, Astor Maria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Acosta AFC's Florencio Hotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Belo in the 93rd minute of play. Daniel Emenon hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. After having played for 97 minutes, Herminio Enol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acosta AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herminio Enol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Calchaquí F.C.'s Nicasio Vellito got a free kick in the 98th minute. Herminio Enol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Acosta AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
