With an extended leg and a bit of luck Severiano Ur prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Alfredo Santana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute, Jonas Oihenarte left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curne fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Jonas Oihenarte who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Severiano Ur when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Gomez to strike the kick off in the second half.
