Spectators: 6800 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1657, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelino Tanio started the match with the kick off. Ramblones FC's Rodolfo Roano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Emesto in the 3rd minute of play. After 5 minutes, Siro Jorrin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ramblones FC and the Santo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Siro Jorrin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Baldomiro Inko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Roano having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Ramblones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Siro Jorrin to maneuver through the defense. After 15 played minutes Ramblones FC got a freekick which was hit by Siro Jorrin. When Juan Rafe fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ramblones FC's protests and gave Juan Rafe a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Ramblones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Rafe to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute, Gabriel Emesto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Baldomiro Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Gabriel Emesto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rodolfo Roano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 35th match minute, Ramblones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edelmiro Martxel to maneuver through the defense. Rodolfo Roano didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Emesto went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. When Gabriel Emesto, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 48 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rodolfo Roano was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After the first half Santo FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gabriel Emesto stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Gabriel Emesto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Roano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vladimiro Madaleno during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 57th minute, one of Santo FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Santo FC. Cesar Chus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Santo FC booed when Ramblones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Unax didn't get a good kick on the ball. Baldomiro Inko received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Rodolfo Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute, Cesar Chus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ramblones FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. Marcelino Tanio struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Elias Niva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ramblones FC. Edgard Rodas kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Santo FC's zone, Cesar Chus stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Elias Niva came out of the goal and Cesar Chus tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 91 minutes, Cesar Chus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ramblones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cesar Chus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th minute Marcelino Tanio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Niva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 100 minutes into the match, Santo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cesar Chus came free, but Elias Niva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Santo FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
