One of Ramblones FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Zorzal Criollo:s goal. In the 24th minute, Rodolfo Eliu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Roano was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. When Maximino Urtsua came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Zorzal Criollo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maximino Urtsua couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Zorzal Criollo booed when Ramblones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edgard Rodas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Maximino Urtsua managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zorzal Criollo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximino Urtsua was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodolfo Roano had in the 37thth minute some difficulties stopping Erubiel Valentine's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 40th minute, Edelmiro Martxel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Urtsua received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Rodolfo Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rodolfo Eliu took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rodolfo Roano. Rodolfo Roano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar Chus to strike the kick off in the second half. If Maximino Urtsua had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Chus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Lennart Holm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maximino Urtsua could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Rodolfo Roano made a huge save. 65 minutes into the match, Zorzal Criollo's Rodolfo Eliu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodolfo Roano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute Maximino Urtsua shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Roano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cesar Chus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 77th minute, Maximino Urtsua got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Ramblones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Maximino Urtsua came free, but Rodolfo Roano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rodolfo Eliu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Ramblones FC's Rodolfo Roano got control of the ball when Rodolfo Eliu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Maximino Urtsua fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Roano having to interfere. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodolfo Roano prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match was over Zorzal Criollo could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ramblones FC throughout the match.
