In the 6th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pájaro Negro's goalkeeper Angelino Delfino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cayetano Balesio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Ospin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cayetano Balesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Orlando Gutierrez in the 9th minute of the match. Orlando Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Balesio having to interfere. Hipolito Donio hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Ángulos's zone, Orlando Gutierrez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cayetano Balesio came out of the goal and Orlando Gutierrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Emanuel Cugat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Delfino having to interfere. Orlando Gutierrez took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cayetano Balesio. Cayetano Balesio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. If Orlando Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eleuterio Cebrian charged in rather forcefully in the 25th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eleuterio Cebrian the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 28th match minute, Ángulos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paolo Bermudo to maneuver through the defense. In the 31st minute Emanuel Cugat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Angelino Delfino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Ángulos's goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Gutierrez came free, but Cayetano Balesio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cayetano Balesio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulo Ospin's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. After a rather tough play, Ángulos's Eleuterio Gagriel got a free kick in the 44th minute. Celso Vimaro was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 45th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After 48 played minutes Pájaro Negro got a freekick which was hit by Angelino Emesto. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Cugat to strike the kick off in the second half. Paulo Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Pájaro Negro's Paulo Ospin in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ángulos's goalie prevented a goal. After 79 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ángulos! Paulo Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cayetano Balesio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Ospin in the 96th minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded Pájaro Negro left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ángulos.
