Rodolfo Roano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Gutierrez in the 5th minute. If Paulo Ospin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 17 played minutes Ramblones FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Lapurdi. Orlando Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Rodolfo Roano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pájaro Negro's Angelino Delfino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Tanio in the 20th minute of play. Paulo Ospin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rodolfo Roano having to make a save. Pájaro Negro's Angelino Delfino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcelino Tanio in the 24th minute of play. Angelino Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelino Tanio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesar Chus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Angelino Delfino having to interfere. Rodolfo Roano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Ospin in the 36th minute of play. Rodolfo Roano stood somewhat misplaced when Paulo Ospin came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 47 minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Ospin to strike the kick off in the second half. Ramblones FC's Marcelino Tanio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 55 minutes into the match, Pájaro Negro's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelino Tanio came free, but Angelino Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Orlando Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelino Tanio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodolfo Roano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Ospin in the 71st minute of play. 73 minutes into the game, Angelino Emesto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pájaro Negro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ramblones FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Pájaro Negro's Angelino Emesto got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 74th minute, Cesar Chus got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rodolfo Roano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Gutierrez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Paulo Ospin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodolfo Roano. Ramblones FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulo Ospin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Edelmiro Martxel charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edelmiro Martxel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Edelmiro Martxel hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the match, Ramblones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Ospin came free, but Rodolfo Roano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pájaro Negro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
