But to his dismay, Baldomiro Inko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When Gabriel Emesto fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santo FC's protests and gave Gabriel Emesto a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Santo FC's Gabriel Emesto got a free kick in the 7th minute. Paulo Ospin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Elias Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Paulo Ospin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Niva having to interfere. Elias Niva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Gutierrez in the 18th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Emesto in the 24th minute of play forced Pájaro Negro's goalkeeper Angelino Delfino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elias Niva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Ospin in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Gutierrez in the 28th minute of play forced Santo FC's goalkeeper Elias Niva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baldomiro Inko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 40 minutes, Paulo Ospin made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Santo FC's Elias Niva tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 44 minutes into the game, Santo FC's Baldomiro Inko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Delfino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2.

The audience was convinced that Gabriel Emesto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Angelino Delfino was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Orlando Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Elias Niva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Santo FC defense, Orlando Gutierrez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Elias Niva. The Santo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Elias Niva should have stopped the shot. If Orlando Gutierrez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baldomiro Inko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the game, Santo FC's Baldomiro Inko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Angelino Delfino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 86th minute Camilo Jesco suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Angelino Txatxu's late challenge caught a Pájaro Negro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelino Txatxu helped the player get up and apologised. Angelino Txatxu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Elias Niva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Ospin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 92 minutes into the match, Pájaro Negro's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriel Emesto came free, but Angelino Delfino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gabriel Emesto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Pájaro Negro players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Santo FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
