The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Maman Hatala came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Academia Solchu F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maman Hatala couldn't finish the play. Luciano Maiorga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sixto Chale having to make a save. Bass Van Eeckhout showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Beila in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Academia Solchu F.C.'s Luciano Maiorga made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sixto Chale was left in no man's land by his defense there! Delmiro Beila lost his temper 24 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 24th minute, one of Academia Solchu F.C.:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Academia Solchu F.C.. When the match had been going on for 26 minutes, Rosario Central's Cirilo Lleir got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Bass Van Eeckhout. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Maman Hatala managed to get in a good position for a shot. Academia Solchu F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Maman Hatala was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sixto Chale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleto Ibon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 38 minutes into the game, Claudio Fernendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Rosario Central's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Academia Solchu F.C. the free kick. After 37 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Rosario Central! In the 42nd minute, Felipe Sotil hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 46 minutes, Urbano Satordi took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Bass Van Eeckhout to make any attempt to save it. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Maman Hatala to strike the kick off in the second half. Rosario Central's Sixto Chale proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Rosario Central from getting a goal against them. Maman Hatala scored 2-3 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sixto Chale, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Maman Hatala came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Academia Solchu F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maman Hatala couldn't finish the play. After having played for 64 minutes, Cleto Ibon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Solchu F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Cleto Ibon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Maman Hatala blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sixto Chale having to make a save. After 71 minutes, Justino Mel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Academia Solchu F.C. and the Rosario Central players grew even worse after the yellow card. Justino Mel hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. A collision led to Academia Solchu F.C. getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Justino Mel hit a great ball. If Marcelino Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bass Van Eeckhout took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Urbano Satordi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafael Errolan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Chale having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Cleto Ibon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Rosario Central's zone, Rafael Errolan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sixto Chale came out of the goal and Rafael Errolan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87thth minute of the game Cleto Ibon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rosario Central's Sixto Chale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maman Hatala sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Justino Mel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sixto Chale having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Maman Hatala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sixto Chale saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Academia Solchu F.C.'s players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
