Seating: 1250, VIP seats: 30) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Nestor Claus kicked off to start the match. When Nestor Claus came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the River Plate fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nestor Claus couldn't finish the play. Enzo Tximitx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Beila in the 8th minute of play. When Bartolo Quexal fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored River Plate's protests and gave Bartolo Quexal a yellow card for diving instead. Bartolo Quexal hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 10th minute, Leonides Iraunkor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 13th minute, Carolo Beila left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The River Plate fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Nestor Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Enzo Tximitx tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. River Plate's Nestor Claus got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Carolo Beila, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 30 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Enzo Tximitx was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 33rd minute, Constantino Perutxo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 35 minutes into the match, Carolo Beila notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Charbonier's Enzo Tximitx. Enzo Tximitx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Augusto Haitz's late challenge caught a River Plate's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augusto Haitz helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Charbonier booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pascual Elivareo didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Efrain Arnalt in the 44th minute of play forced River Plate's goalkeeper Amador Eleazar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nestor Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Tximitx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nestor Claus, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Efrain Arnalt was the one to do the kick off. Nestor Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Tximitx having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Nestor Claus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. River Plate's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nestor Claus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Charbonier defense, Nestor Claus kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Enzo Tximitx. The Charbonier fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Enzo Tximitx should have stopped the shot. Nestor Claus received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Enzo Tximitx came out and tried to block the shot, but Nestor Claus slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 63rd minute. Nestor Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Tximitx having to interfere. After a rather tough play, River Plate's Alfredo Senen got a free kick in the 69th minute. In the 73rd minute Efrain Arnalt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 74 minutes into the game, Bartolo Quexal recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Enzo Tximitx. Bartolo Quexal showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. A collision led to Charbonier getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Prospero Veto hit a great ball. Constantino Perutxo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enzo Tximitx read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Charbonier's Enzo Tximitx proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Charbonier from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the match, Charbonier's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Beila came free, but Enzo Tximitx reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantino Perutxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Enzo Tximitx made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Beila in the 89th minute of play. When the match was over River Plate could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Charbonier throughout the match.
