KUERVO's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mattaldi AFC the free kick. Jorge Menendo kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of KUERVO booed when Mattaldi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelio Beila didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo Fidele in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Gaskon saved KUERVO from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Huly notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Mattaldi AFC's Ermegildo Rufio. Ermegildo Rufio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in KUERVO's zone, Rodrigo Fidele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Gaskon came out of the goal and Rodrigo Fidele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigo Fidele fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristides Gaskon having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, KUERVO's goal looked a bit too open when Rodrigo Fidele came free, but Aristides Gaskon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvestre Karlo hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Ermegildo Rufio made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Arnaldo Huly sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Fidele in the 44th minute of play forced KUERVO's goalkeeper Aristides Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 46 minutes, Rodrigo Fidele managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mattaldi AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Fidele was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 48 minutes of play, Mattaldi AFC's Edelmiro Benvido made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristides Gaskon was left in no man's land by his defense there! All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rodrigo Fidele made a kick off. 54 minutes into the game, KUERVO's Arnaldo Huly nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ermegildo Rufio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. Anacleto Maria hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, one of KUERVO:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KUERVO. In the 58th minute there was a penalty for Mattaldi AFC. Edelmiro Benvido stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Aristides Gaskon. 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Huly in the 63rd minute of play forced Mattaldi AFC's goalkeeper Ermegildo Rufio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ermegildo Rufio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Quinto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, KUERVO's goalkeeper Aristides Gaskon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rodrigo Fidele. Aristides Gaskon was a little too slow when Rodrigo Fidele got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 4-3. 78 minutes into the match, Mattaldi AFC's Rodrigo Fidele sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristides Gaskon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aristides Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gogo Bembe in the 79th minute of the match. Rodrigo Fidele scored 4-4 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Gaskon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Rodrigo Fidele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silvestre Karlo charged in rather forcefully in the 94th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Silvestre Karlo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 94th minute, Silvestre Karlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorio Kismi took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ermegildo Rufio. Mattaldi AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aristides Gaskon made a fantastic save in the 100th minute, when Rodrigo Fidele sent off a good shot on target. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Mattaldi AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
