Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Trebolares's defense didn't have a chance, in the 8th minute, when Carolo Beila scored to the left of an out of position Donato Loren, making the score, 2-0. An unexpected shot in the 10th minute by Nestor Claus got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 13 minutes into the match, River Plate's Constantino Perutxo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donato Loren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Carolo Beila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Hugo Gizon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Eleazar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nestor Claus received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Donato Loren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donato Loren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carolo Beila in the 31st minute of the match. Donato Loren went to the wrong direction when Pascual Elivareo was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. A collision led to Trebolares getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Saul Galindo hit a great ball. Nestor Claus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Loren having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Nestor Claus made the kick off in the second half. Carolo Beila struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Donato Loren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River Plate. The supporters of Trebolares booed when River Plate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Senen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nestor Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carolo Beila in the 73rd minute of play. Trebolares's Donato Loren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Claus in the 74th minute of play. Nestor Claus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Donato Loren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carolo Beila, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Nestor Claus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute Carolo Beila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Loren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Carolo Beila in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Donato Loren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. River Plate's Carolo Beila got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Constantino Perutxo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Carolo Beila managed to get in a good position for a shot. River Plate's supporters rose to their feet, but Carolo Beila was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Loren breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. River Plate's Nestor Claus got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the River Plate players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
