An unexpectedly hard shot by Ladislao Lauaxeta in the 42nd minute of play forced Rottweiller MDQ's goalkeeper Gogo Raphael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Damaso Martinez in the 69th minute of play forced Maldita Suerte FC's goalkeeper Epifanio Montel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gogo Raphael having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Rottweiller MDQ's goal looked a bit too open when Isidro Mark came free, but Gogo Raphael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Ladislao Lauaxeta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maldita Suerte FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ladislao Lauaxeta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Rottweiller MDQ booed when Maldita Suerte FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ladislao Lauaxeta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rottweiller MDQ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
