Spectators: 7257 (Terracing: 5444, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Quinto started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Severo Maties left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SuperCampeones fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Maties in the 8th minute of play forced KUERVO's goalkeeper Aristides Gaskon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Cesario showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Quinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Aristides Gaskon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Maties in the 15th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Severo Maties in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristides Gaskon saved KUERVO from getting behind. Aristides Gaskon came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by SuperCampeones's Severo Maties. But to his dismay, Severo Maties quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After a defensive mix-up in KUERVO's zone, Severo Maties stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristides Gaskon came out of the goal and Severo Maties tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Casimiro Fernanco during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Arnaldo Huly had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Generoso Virila blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristides Gaskon having to make a save. Generoso Virila scored 0-3 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristides Gaskon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The KUERVO players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. SuperCampeones were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Severo Maties stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The crowd rose to their feet as Severo Maties kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aristides Gaskon. That made the score 0-4 in the 58 minute of play. Victorio Kismi hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. KUERVO's Aristides Gaskon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save KUERVO from getting a goal against them. Generoso Virila who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Aristides Gaskon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when SuperCampeones's Severo Maties in the 73rd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Aristides Gaskon was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for KUERVO through an amazing save. Generoso Virila came free with the goalkeeper in the 76th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Aristides Gaskon could save by the left post. Aristides Gaskon made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Generoso Virila sent off a good shot on target. Aristides Gaskon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severo Maties, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Jorge Menendo fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KUERVO's protests and gave Jorge Menendo a yellow card for diving instead. After 84 played minutes KUERVO got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Menendo. Generoso Virila recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Severo Maties might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aristides Gaskon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Severo Maties ran back to his position shaking his head. After some careless play in the KUERVO defense, Generoso Virila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristides Gaskon. The KUERVO fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristides Gaskon should have stopped the shot. KUERVO's Aristides Gaskon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severo Maties in the 94th minute of play. Aristides Gaskon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severo Maties, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The SuperCampeones supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing SuperCampeones would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
