German Lonzo made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Manuel Dei sent off a good shot on target. When Hilario Boniel fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chusca FC's protests and gave Hilario Boniel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 41st minute, Hilario Boniel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Chusca FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Bones Krakers were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Raimundo Lauro was the one to do the kick off. If Raimundo Lauro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horacio Lano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Dionisio Lando made a huge save. Manuel Dei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without German Lonzo having to interfere. Chusca FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Manuel Dei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Chusca FC's goalkeeper Dionisio Lando had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Cedro. After a rather tough play, Chusca FC's Gonzalo Lonzo got a free kick in the 78th minute. Horacio Lano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dionisio Lando having to interfere. German Lonzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Dei in the 90th minute of the match. Raimundo Lauro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but German Lonzo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Zeledon Arnalt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bones Krakers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chusca FC the free kick. A collision led to Bones Krakers getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Zeledon Arnalt hit a great ball. German Lonzo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Bones Krakers supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bones Krakers would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
