The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 1-0 became the score in the 9th minute when Bernardino Baldovino elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Domínguez's Cristobal Nuñez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Domínguez from getting a goal against them. SetiembreFC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ceferino Olivar in the 13th minute. SetiembreFC's Ceferino Olivar was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Cristobal Nuñez in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. SetiembreFC's David Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Kimetz in the 18th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Amancio Macario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 27th minute of the match Gonzalo Indar shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Txindoki showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bernardino Baldovino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Cristobal Nuñez made a huge save. SetiembreFC's Bernardino Baldovino got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Amancio Macario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Itzaina in the 37th minute of the match. Santo Atarrabis short, quick shot in the 44thth minute got Cristobal Nuñez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Aureliano Itzaina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 49th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Txindoki having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Cristobal Nuñez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Olivar in the 56th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Amancio Macario managed to get in a good position for a shot. SetiembreFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Amancio Macario was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristobal Nuñez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristobal Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardino Baldovino in the 70th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in SetiembreFC's zone, Aureliano Itzaina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Txindoki came out of the goal and Aureliano Itzaina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st minute, Domínguez's Marcos Kimetz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind David Txindoki. David Txindoki yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Santo Atarrabi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Cristobal Nuñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Bernardino Baldovino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. SetiembreFC fully deserved thier win.
