One of SetiembreFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Defensa F.C:s goal. SetiembreFC's David Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Turi in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes into the match, SetiembreFC's goal looked a bit too open when Marcos Turi came free, but David Txindoki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Fabio Costante shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cornelio Aballe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of SetiembreFC booed when Defensa F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Astor Cordarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. David Txindoki took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Turi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcos Turi struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. David Txindoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensa F.C. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensa F.C's goalkeeper Cornelio Aballe, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardino Baldovino in the 38th minute of play forced Defensa F.C's goalkeeper Cornelio Aballe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Turi took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised David Txindoki. David Txindoki dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. David Txindoki showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Gil in the 60th minute of the match. David Txindoki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abel Gil, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Daniel Cristofol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. David Txindoki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabio Costante in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cornelio Aballe prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fabio Costante received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cornelio Aballe came out and tried to block the shot, but Fabio Costante slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 75th minute. If Abel Gil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Defensa F.C getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Abel Gil hit a great ball. Marcos Turi struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. David Txindoki didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Defensa F.C. There was no doubt that Defensa F.C were the better team. Defensa F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
