Milton FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Orense AFC the free kick. A collision led to Milton FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Jeremias Lamberto hit a great ball. 43 minutes into the game, Milton FC's Melquiades Sancho nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raul Porfiro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sixto Jaunzuria to strike the kick off in the second half. Godfredo Olentzaro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raul Porfiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 51st minute of play. A collision led to Milton FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Justino Aresti hit a great ball. Remigio Oriol took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ernesto Harkaitz. Milton FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Milton FC's Ernesto Harkaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Milton FC from getting a goal against them. After 70 minutes, Ruben Aires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Milton FC and the Orense AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
