Astor Cordarin kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 24 minutes into the game, Mateo Araoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. SacachispaF.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Defensa F.C the free kick. A collision led to SacachispaF.C. getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Mateo Araoz hit a great ball. 26 minutes into the match, Abel Gil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonas Raymond. SacachispaF.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abel Gil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. In the 30th minute, Marcos Turi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensa F.C fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 33rd minute, Astor Cordarin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Defensa F.C's Cornelio Aballe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Defensa F.C from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florencio Lohitzun in the 36th minute of play forced Defensa F.C's goalkeeper Cornelio Aballe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Abel Gil came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Defensa F.C fans jumped to their feet. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Gaston Bernat tried in the game's 72nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Jonas Raymond. An annoying self made goal, 0-6. In the 75th minute, Marcos Turi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 77 minutes, Abel Gil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensa F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Gil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Abel Gil came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Defensa F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Abel Gil couldn't finish the play. In the 85th minute the ball was on its way in behind SacachispaF.C.'s goalkeeper Jonas Raymond, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Marcos Turi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Defensa F.C played a much better game than SacachispaF.C. and deserved their victory. The SacachispaF.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
