When Santos Endura fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mithatha Bucks FC's protests and gave Santos Endura a yellow card for diving instead. Rogelio Lluciano's late challenge caught a Mithatha Bucks FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rogelio Lluciano helped the player get up and apologised. Gilberto Beat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Fulgencio Rico tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gilberto Beat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilberto Beat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Rico having to interfere. Fulgencio Rico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Weather in the 17th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Nunez Cordeara's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Bela was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. 22 minutes into the game, Feliberto Weather was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mithatha Bucks FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Poma coliseo AFC the free kick. Nunez Cordeara scored 1-1 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximiliano Bela, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Feliberto Weather was the one to do the kick off. Fulgencio Rico made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Beat in the 54th minute of play. Poma coliseo AFC's Fulgencio Rico played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Beat in the 60th minute of play. Nicolas Acevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maximiliano Bela having to interfere. In the 68th minute, Leonel Harkaitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximiliano Bela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nunez Cordeara went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 76th play minute Nicolas Acevedo came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Maximiliano Bela. 1-4. Feliberto Weather fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulgencio Rico having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Feliberto Weather got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilberto Beat in the 86th minute of play forced Poma coliseo AFC's goalkeeper Fulgencio Rico to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 88 minutes of play Mithatha Bucks FC's Santos Endura was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Santos Endura hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Nunez Cordeara shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Bela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolas Acevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Poma coliseo AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Poma coliseo AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
